Maximizing dirt separation.
The Dirt Buddy provides an angled washboard like surface to enable full contact with your washing mitt, removing the large dirt particles with ease. Not only does it make your cars paint love you but you will love washing it even more!
With inspiration from the traditional washing board, the angle of the Dirt buddy provides a more accessible surface to rub the mitt on compared to competitors that require you to reach all the way to the bottom of the bucket.

Upper air pocket relief to keep the Dirt Buddy on the bottom of the bucket and the dirt contained.
Three larger finger holes for easy removal after the wash.
Ribbed concentric rings to agitate the washing mitt as you rinse between sections of the car.
Process.
I started with a mind dump of all the different car washing products I could think of and or create.
With my personal love for cars this was a fun one. My goal for this was to take what is already out there and make it better than before.
Current market options are flat and on the bottom of the bucket, making it difficult and uncomfortable to reach with the mitt. (No one wants that!)

Not a whole lot of outer visual changes were made but the inner workings and geometry turned out much different after some failed testing attempts shown below.
