Recently my wife and I just had our first child May of 2025. Having a child in our house brought up the topic of keeping our house safe for her. I was given the prompt “What is safe?”, and as an avid hunter/gun owner myself, I started to brainstorm options for a gun safe that could go in any room of the house. After doing a ton of research it was apparent that most households that have guns simply don’t have safes.
Seems backwards but it’s true.
A couple reasons safes can be cumbersome are that they take up a lot of space, they inherently say “here are the guns!” and frankly most safes are expensive! My goal with this project was to solve those issues and make buying a safe as normal as buying a kitchen appliance.
